fishermen in boats arrive one day and seem to defile the sanctity
the Iberni beleive to be inherent to the sea- they do not use
boats or even go into the ocean unless they are fishing with dolphins-
they beleive the ocean is holy, and to do otherwise would offend
the dolphins.
And
for that day no dolphins arrive. . and it is slow season- the
village is worried.
So
they consult with this nearby spirtual healer, who sprinkles some
sand in the water to purify. Within minutes the documentary film
reveals several dolphins arriving, jumping and spinning in the
air. . .
